For Halloween, I threw a party at my house from 6pm to 3:30ish am. It was quite interesting, especially since I didn't know three of the people that showed up. My friend Jordan invited them. I originally was just going to have five friends come over for movies and games but five others ended up being invited. Jordan's friends weren't doing anything and he wanted me to meet them, so they came. Then my boyfriend was talking to one of our friends and he wasn't doing anything that night and he felt bad for him and invited him. Then, I was talking to my friend Aldo on facebook and I was telling him who was coming to my party and stuff and he was like, "Uh, can I come?" I laughed so hard because I was just about to invite him.

So eleven people were crammed into my tiny basement. We played Singstar for like four hours. Then we played this one game called Curses where you have to do stupid things like keep your wrists touching the top of your head at all times, speak like a pirate, scratch yourself whenever you talk, swat invisible bees around your head, pretend you are being attacked my a vicious raccoon, and perform CPR on an invisible hamster. It's a crazy game. Just imagine eight people crammed in a room looking and sounding like idiots. That's how most of the night went. We only had eight at this point because two had left early for an improv show and one hadn't showed up yet.

Oh! When were playing Singstar, we were crazy. Two of my friends are twins so they had twin showdowns. Keep in mind that both of them are REALLY good singers. It was like neck and neck ever time. Two of the girls that Jordan invited got totally into it and were dancing around like idiots. Then when my friend's boyfriend showed up, he was singing with his brother and he was shaking his ass while singing. I leaned over to his girlfriend and whispered, "He has a nice ass." She was like, "I know, huh?" At which point he started exaggerating his ass shaking and people proceeded to spank him with random items. He seemed to like the attention. All I could really do was curl up on the couch and laugh my head off. Then we started comparing my BF's ass to my friend's and it was so hilarious. Of course my BF lost because my friend has one heck of an ass. He has one lucky girlfriend... XD

My friend was starting to pass out so her, her boyfriend, and his brother all left, leaving six of us. We chatted and stuff then one of Jordan's friends started begging another girl to read her tarot cards for her. So they did that for like 30 minutes. The the other girl that came with them wanted her's read too. By now, the party was winding down and some of us were starting to crash. I was sitting in a corner on my laptop, Jordan was in the hall on his laptop as well while looking for a job, my BF was at the computer desk playing a game, and the three girls were on the floor in the middle of the room reading tarot cards.

At one point in the night I scared the crap out of myself. Everyone was talking about ghosts and spirits and stuff, which I am totally fine talking about. I didn't say much of anything in this conversation because everyone else seemed to know a lot more than I do, so it was a bit intimidating. So while they were talking about possession and exorcisms, I felt my chair move. I'm sitting on this recliner and it feels like someone was pushing the back of the chair back, leaning it back. I look around and there is no one near me. This happens a few more times and at this point, I'm seriously freaking out. Then I look down. One of the girls is laying on the floor and was bumping my chair with her foot. I felt like a complete idiot. I am just glad no one else could tell I was freaking out.

One thing I found out that night, was that I do not have any spirits in my house. WOOO!!! The girl that was reading tarot cards, Lasandra, is also a bit sensitive to spirits. She never sees them, she can just tell if they are there. She said she sensed one in Jordan's basement and he confirmed it, saying that there was, indeed, something in the basement. He said it never bugged anyone else in the house. He said sometimes it's nice and sometimes it's pissy. Lasandra never once said anything about my house and a spirit. Plus we have never had anything happen in the house that we couldn't explain. So no spirits for me! Though, I do believe that my grandma is with me sometimes. Sometimes I catch the smell of my grandfather's old house and I normally just disregard it. But after the other night, I kind of put two and two together and realized that it could have been my grandma. She died in my grandpa's house when I was about six, so I don't really remember her much. But since she died in my grandpa's house and I keep smelling my grandpa's house, I really do believe it is her.

Okay, enough of my rant about spirits. So everyone started leaving around 3-3:30ish. It just took FOREVER for everyone to find their stuff, grab whatever food was left, and get out. So after everyone had left and I was done cleaning up a bit, my mom gets up and we are talking about the night and we talk for like half an hour. Then I climb into bed and surf for two hours and try to figure out what to do. Then FINALLY, I fell asleep at 6am. YAY me!!!

So yeah, that was my Halloween night.

School, life, and lack of a job are all killing me lately and I haven't had much time to do much of anything lately.

Just wanted to let you all know that I AM working on stuff. It's just so freaking slow because of my lack of time.
